I did this pitch differently than what it looks like this climber is doing. About 5 feet lower than where he is, I took a step left and followed the crack up. He looks like he is going out to the face above the lower crack. The step left is easy and the crack above provides great protection.

I also traversed left on the roof and followed the crack up. But whatever works.

The climber in the photo is doing a somewhat harder variation to this pitch, I seem to remember that this went at about 5.8ish, but its been ages since I've done it. The original route goes to the left of the roof.
