2013 Joe Despres Memorial Transciever Trainings, 11/30 & 12/1

If you are planning on getting into the backcountry this winter, come to the 2013 Joe Despres Memorial Transceiver Trainings. Join instructors from Rocky Mountain Rescue Group :

• November 30th, or
• December 1st

6:30 PM-9:00 PM, Chautauqua Ranger Cottage in Boulder. Both sessions offer beginning and advanced training. It's free, open to the public with a RSVP, and a great way to brush up on your transceiver skills (or more importantly get your partners to brush up on theirs). Bring your own transceiver or we will loan you one. RSVP required to Mike.Griffin@rockymountainrescue.org. Spots are limited.

While wearing a transciever, Joe Despres was killed by an avalanche that drowned him in to Yankee Doodle Lake November 28, 2001. RIP Joe, many happy turns up there, you earned them.
