I really like Solutions EXCEPT for the "3D molded heel cup" on them. That design does not and can not conform to my heel, it's the worse heel on the market in that regard. On top of that, I find the surface and texture of the heel to be one of the least grippy of all rock shoes. I've long said that I'd be thrilled if I could get a pair of Solutions with any other La Sportiva heel. This preview suggests that the solution to my problem is arriving next year.

Hmmm. Not really sure what to think about these. I thought the solution was overrated as is, the Testarossa was far superior for edging and steep climbing. Although take what I say with a grain of salt, I hate Sportiva shoes because of their Vibram rubber.

Here's a Speedster from above, for comparison: It does look a lot like a Speedster shape, but with the Solution lacing system.
