Hey all,

I am a 25 y/o male San Diego transplant going to grad school in Boston. My partner had to bail on our Chico trip this winter but I decided to come down anyway from Dec. 27th-Jan 6th.

I am sure I'll be able to find people to climb with there but would love to lock something up and not have to worry about it!

I'll be camping at Posada and bringing a 70m rope and a good amount of draws. I am stoked to climb long easy stuff and struggle up the harder stuff alike. I have a decent amount of multi/bigger wall experience (red dihedral, longer sport stuff in ton sai, cannon, failed run on the nose (woke up on dolt to intimidating weather forecast), etc…) and climb in the 10-12 range (just sent my first sport 12c for whatever thats worth).

Anyway, really looking forward to lots of good climbing and meeting new friends. Let me know if your there, available, and interested!

Cheers,
Tyler

Hey Tyler,
I too am interested in Potrero, no firm plans yet but I'm looking for a partner as well. Will you be coming in from San Diego or Boston? I'm on the east coast so I was going to drive through the southeast in through Laredo. I lead solid 5.11 but I'm capable of struggling up harder stuff as well. Though sounds like the stuff isn't so hard out in Potrero.

Look me up on facebook or pm me here if you want to further discuss.

Thanks,
Colin

Hey guys. I was down there and stayed at El Posada a few weeks ago. El Posada is the place to be. It is usually really busy over New Years and am sure you will be able to find a partner. Just be friendly and you should have no problem. Enjoy!

Howdy, Colin.

I wanted to let you know that my climbing partner and I are planning to leave from Georgia on December 27th for a drive down to Potrero, where we'll be climbing until January 8th. We're meeting our two other climbing partners down there, but I wanted to let you know in case you were interested in somehow carpooling to save some gas.

Let me know!

I am looking to be there for a few days over new years, I will also be camping at Posada (assuming I can get a spot). I will not have a partner, so I would love to partner up. You climb a bit harder, I can lead up to 10b, happy to follow up to 12a, 12c I will likely just flail. Tons of multi-pitch experience.

I will be driving down from San Antonio. Currently I am thinking I will be there Dec 29th-Jan 2.

I'll also have a 70 and some draws. Let me know!

Will be down starting 27th as well and staying for a couple weeks. We have even numbers right now, but may have days where we don't. Will be staying at La Pagoda driving the blue tacoma. Hit us up!

I'll jump on this boat as well and say. .

I'm looking to take the shuttle from Austin which is 29th to 3rd. My partner just bailed so I'm looking. I have a good amount of multipitch sport experience but have never been to Potrero. Very willing to climb anything 10 and below. Single pitch, I can eek out some 12s but I'd rather climb fun and easy. I have all the gear needed but a second rope wouldn't hurt. PM me if you're also looking for a partner or 4th.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
