Does anyone have recommendations for good climbs to TR solo in Squamish? I can remember some areas in Murrin Park and the Smoke Bluffs that had a walk-off, but most of these climbs were pretty short, maybe 15 meters. Are there any longer climbs (up to 60 meters) that are accessible from the top and worth hiking to?
I have the guidebook, so route names are sufficient. Thanks!
There might be some routes on the Malamute that would work well for that. I'm thinking of High Mountain Woody (5.9) in particular, I haven't climbed it myself but it looks sick. And its a 45m pitch so definitely not as short as the Bluffs
I'm not sure if Seal Cove is walk-off accessible, the guidebook was pretty misleading about that if I remember, I went to check it out on a rest day a while ago and I remember being kinda disappointed. Let me know if you find out otherwise! theres some routes I'd like to climb over there
Just got back from Squamish, but unfortunately I didn't make it over to Seal Cove. The Malamute kept me pretty busy, and Seal Cove seemed cold and committing.
High Mountain Woody and Slap and Tickle were awesome, though!
