What size TC pro should I get compared to my Miura size or Mythos size. The same? 1/2 size bigger or smaller or what?

Thanks

I went with same size as muira lace ups. No complaints.

(talking in euro sizes) Full size larger then Miura lace sized for sport for all day comfort. Half a size up from miura sport fit will still be able to jam well but preferably only one pitch at a time. I also think they would smear slightly better if sized for all day comfort (allow your foot to flex more) but half a size up from miura sport fit and they're fine.

Muchas gracias. Super helpful. Now if I could just read the size on those well-loved shoes.

p.s. Turd- local store doesn't carry them anymore

I wear TCs, Katanas and Miuras, the latter two for sport/bouldering only.

I might go a step sideways and ask if your feet are the same size. Mine are 0.25-0.5 Euros different from each other. So, for comfort I definitely went up a full size to TCs so that my big foot didn't suffer.

In my case, 42 Katana on right foot kills my toe - I wear TCs in 43 to maintain right foot comfort.

Any body else wear my sizes and have a big LEFT foot? If so, I wanna trade shoes with you in the future and be life footware friends!!!!!!!! (your bigger left foot should just fit into 42.5 and be too uncomfortable in a 42)

I'll throw in my experience. I've got Miura VS and TC Pro's in 44.5 and the Miura's are painful tight, while the TC Pro's I can wear all day. No regrets!

Slight drift, has anyone resoled TCs with C4? Does this soften them up much? I have a comfy pair that I plan to keep for long easy stuff, slab, and Indian Creek.

You could have them resoled with the thicker version of C4 (5mm maybe?) - that would help keep them a little stiffer. I did this with a par of Tradmasters for Alpine and like the result real well.

Don't do it. I have 3 pair of TC's; new (for 'those' edges), resoled w/c4 and resoled w/Edge. The C4 works well on slabs, but smears better than edges. The shoe really likes the XS edge. IMHO. Also depends on what you are climbing, hence more than one pair. And no, i don't wear them all at once, wish i could!

EDIT: Actually, for long easy, slabs, some of the creek i would go w/the C4....oh, i was lots of help....HA!

Thanks for the responses. I've resoled with 4mm Edge on this pair in past. I wish the rand and stitching would last longer than 2 resoles, thus dedicating the old pair to beat up at IC.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
