This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for Rock and Resole.

Man.. 40 pages later and I'm still confused..
How many micro-fractures does it take before I need a resole? ...and is its strength reduced if its girth-hitched?

More importantly does anyone know Daila Ojeda's number?

And you guys thought this would go 5 pages. Anyone have the # for runout resoles?

Every time I hear a new climber ask about rock and resole I want to point then to this thread.

just cover it in sharpie ink it the micro-fractures disappear. I'm pretty sure micro-fractures only exist in ropes, though, so covering your cams and belay devices in sharpie ink won't work. I can't imagine any time you'd girth hitch a rope, though, except for the alpine girth hitch tie-in. Yer gonna die!

PS Use Pro Deal resoles instead of R&R cause they're cheaper and offer better customer service

Did anyone ever figure this out?

Funny this popped up.  It ramndomly crossed my mind earlier this morning.

So what's the number?

Press the rewind button at the top or bottom of the page.

ANYWHO... I'm excited to find a group of like minded rubber fanatics. As each rubber has its own unique strengths and weaknesses I was thinking there should be a grade adjustment chart included in every guidebook to be applied to each climb, climber, shoe, rubber, and weather condition combination conceivable. Hoping the OP has worked out how to call R&R by this point and can get their input as well.

50 pages is noble, but a clean 100 would really give the community a chance to settle all the loose ends that this thread has revealed. Rock climbing is hard.
