Why are MP users/climbers/posters so damn sensitive, knit picking, argumentative.

Back in the early 2000s, all the climbing forums and message boards around (climbmoab, mountainproject, redriverclimbing, supertopo) were places to hang out with friends, talk about climbing, post awesome pics, and occasionally get in stupid arguments about inane shit that you would never bring up in person or at the crag with people you didn't know.

Today, social media has turned out to be a better place to do all of this stuff except for argue about stupid stuff with people you don't know. And that's about all that message boards are good for now.

I have to side with the OP on this one. He'sactually using the gerundive, the adjectival form of a verb. nit-picking is correct.

Ya'll know nothing! obey my superior factual opinion!

I think she changed her name to Em Cassius. Don't get on her bad side.

That's sexist!

And now some help with word usage!

To: "I'm going to go climbing."
Too: "I am going climbing too." or "There are too many people that don't know this."

Your: "Bring your harness."
You're: "You're going to need a harness"

Their: "They brought their harnesses."
They're: "They're going to climb that route."
There: "That route over there."

In other news, Americans are enraged that the new Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Christmas trees do not look like Christmas trees.

Remember, no matter how bad you think you have it, someone always has it worse...

The real question...why are so many people so sensitive about what other people say to each other on the Internet?

I also came to realize that MP forum is full of self righteous A--holes that like to attack people from behind the computer for their personal entertainment...... sometimes

Sounds like you've never been on RC.com. MP.com is a bible club comparatively.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
