Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

The Little Top is a fairly large but uninspiring formation near the Big Top that features a few easy routes on it's south and north faces.

Getting There

Two different ways to approach this crag with both taking roughly 10-15 minutes -

If coming from the north hike the Boy Scout Trail west until a point before the The Monkey's Paw and then head south; the routes will be on the opposite side from the approach.
If coming from the south via the end of the Group Camp Road hike 500 meters north past the Big Top to the south facing formation.
