Why didn't the other property get purchased? Doesn't seem to be that much. |

Here is a related question. Since it sounds as if one cannot hike in on the road anymore, is it even possible to hike into the crags without bushwacking? That is until the trail bypassing the private property is built? |

Talk about last minute. Maybe a little too spur of the moment. Cant make it to either one of those dates, but I'm in. I'll be busy busting my butt in Washington so I can be at the Homestead AZ by the 3rd. Is this still a 3 day event or just the one, That's a lot of work for just one day. If your coming in from the Valley, I have a place in Superior. You can park and I'm offering space in my truck for a ride to The Stead. |

Hey everyone, last night we had a lot of questions about the road to the Homestead. I am not sure what the condition of the road will be by the time the Adopt a Crag event occurs. I do know that there will be trucks that will be able to get in on the road and people will be shuttled in to the work sites if needed. |

Another note about climbing at the Homestead. If you don't have a 4X4 or two wheel drive with locking diff it only takes an hour or so to walk in from the highway. Stash your gear if you are there for more than one night and the hike in is a breeze. |
