CCC mystery

I found this in the climber's registration box at Wall of the 90s last week. It is dated August 11, and gives no indication exactly what route is referenced. |
I know they had an incident with some highline anchors that were questionable. I believe it has been resolved. |
I was at a meeting for Jefferson County Open Space Trails last night. They mentioned the concerns for unsafe fixed hardware, especially given the huge numbers of bolts on Jefferson County Open Space. They cited the small but increasing numbers of bolt failures being reported as they age or deteriorate. They are working on developing a climbing management plan. |
Got a couple of call backs from the Jeff Co Ranger, much appreciated. We've been playing phone tag though. Apparently it was a highline anchor issue. |
Pretty odd way to try to entice a perpetrator into contacting them, essentially saying please contact us, you are liable for $350 in fines. |
Speaking with some of the JCOS folks, they cited that these anchors were truly substandard equipment risking injury to others. |

"Unlawful Improvements" so needs a route to go with the name.... |
