Asian fit glacier glasses --do they exist

So I've been looking and looking and I can't see to find any glacier glasses to fit my face. I think these glasses exist since there are Asian mountaineers (like Sherpas --what do they wear??), but it's like looking for a unicorn. I've tried on almost every pair of Julbos at REI and my local gear shop and have had no luck. Any suggestions ? Thanks all!

Can you be specific about what doesn't "fit"?

I've always had trouble because the way the bridge of my nose sticks out a bit, there is a large gap between my cheeks and the bottom rim of the lenses, no matter what I do/what pair I try on. Defeats the purpose of the dark lenses.

The regular Julbos fit pretty small. I had to go to an XL size because the regular was squeezing my brain. I actually have a pair of prescription lenses JULBO explorers that I need to get rid of. You would have to get new lenses though. I will part with them for a sixer of beer.

The julbo's do fit small width-wise which is ok; my problem is the bridge is too wide so they don't even touch my nose, or they tip the glasses down on top of my cheekbones. It's the function of my flat Asian face I have to wear Asian fit goggles when I snowboard for the same reason. Colin--what type of julbo's are they? A six pack for glasses is a good deal ;)

Do you have have to get "glacier" glasses? I just use wrap-around style sunglasses above treeline here in CO with good results even on a sunny day in the snow. The Oakley Flak Jacket is what I currently use, it fits me pretty well and I have very low nose bridge. Unless you're going really high altitude, I don't see a real need for glacier glasses. If they don't fit, they're kind of pointless.

Optometrist here. Any glasses can be made into sunglasses. Any lenses can be made with polarization as well. There are several frame companies which have alternate bridge fits, "Asian", including Oakley and Rayban. If you have any questions please let me know.

I came across the same issue (I'm asian) when I tried on Julbo's. Took a gamble with Altice Chullos, and they are slightly better.

They kept my eyes pretty well protected on a 3 day winter attempt on Rainier. There's still a bit of a gap at the bridge, but it wasn't severe. Gap wasn't big enough to let in much light and kept out the wind well. I might mod the side plates to cut into the cheek less.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I think the Julbo Explorers won't fit based on the measurements. Polloloco, thanks for the link--they have frame measurements on there that are super helpful. Hopefully I can find the holy grail of glasses on there

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
