Hey everyone,
I'm moving from WA to the Bay Area and have some spare time before I start a new job in Nov. I have a rack and a rope, can lead straightforward 5.9s and follow mid-5.10s.
Daytrips preferred as it'll be problematic to accommodate my dog before I settle down on the new place.
I'm starting work in November too, just moved to the Central Valley from Chicago (wow, what a change) and I was hoping to get in a climb or two before I start work too. I just started climbing, but if you don't think you'll be too bored I'd be down for a day trip to Lovers Leap or Yosemite or really anywhere. I've been following 5.9s and have lead a couple 5.8's. You'd probably be leading :) We can split gas, or meet separately. I'm in Stockton. And I love dogs.
Let me know if you're interested- and I understand if you don't want to spend your last week of precious freedom climbing with a newbie :)
I'm looking for a partner for this Friday/sat for the valley or maybe tuolumne if weather permits. Coming from the peninsula have all gear and 70. Ride share would be good. Let me know.
