Description Suggest change

This climb is dedicated to our beloved friend and partner Andrew Berge, a great man of many talents! Keep climbing high above the anchor and we’ll meet you up above the clouds brotha ! RIP 5/13/21... Scramble up and left of the belay on a low-angled ramp before clipping the first bolt in a short corner (25 ft.) The route traverses up and right to a good stance before ascending a vertical face. The finish is a tad bit exciting as you climb above the void, moving carefully to avoid the reverse rocket ride.

Location Suggest change

The left most route on the west face of Hailstone Rock. Belay directly beneath the anchor, 30 feet up the slope from the tree which shades the start of Hail Fire and Close Encounters. The anchor is a Fixe chain/ring lower off.

Protection Suggest change

5 Bolts to chain anchor. It is possible to top out on the formation where the Original Bolts placed by Ken Stanton (25 yrs. old) are in place. These bolts were installed during the FA of a devious overhanging corner/crack system just around the arĂȘte to the right of Rocket Ride.
