Assuming that NASA knows what they're talking about, it seems that on Nov. 15-29 the earth will be cast into complete darkness.
On that note, where will you climb? What are your favorite crags to climb at night? What are your favorite headlamps?
I've really enjoyed my BD spot until it just stopped working out of the blue. I'm thinking it's a soder point. May get another unless there's better suggestions.
Buy your lamps now before they're sold out!

Yeah.... so that won't happen. And nobody at NASA would seriously say it was... but anyway:

But I sure do love my BD storm, it's light, waterproof and has provided adequate light for 4..? years now.

Also, Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries are the way to go. Much more run-time than any other battery I know of.

Mammut Lucido! Long life, crazy powerful setting, doesn't bounce on your head while running, but certainly not the lightest option

I really like my BD ReVolt.

The world never ends when they say it will. Weird.

Well, I'm planning on being at Enchanted Rock on the 23rd, and I will be using my Petzl Myo to make my way out to Buzzard's Roost, Kingdom of Zilch, and others.

Complete hoax. Just thought it would be fun and a good way to see what people like to climb at night and the lamps they use

Well, maybe the next predictor will get it right. In the meantime, we can look back and laugh:
