Are private message working?

I'm having issues with private message ,are they work, if yes where they showing? And how do you know if you have a reply? Thanks

For those of use that do not use their smart phones to surf the net we only know about a PM if we check our email. I check my email about once a month and don't always respond anyway. I bet there are others that are the same way/

When you send a private message it does directly to the person's e-mail address. It goes to the email address they used to register for MountainProject. Sometimes people change their email but forget to update it here and so they never see their PMs.

There is no way to "check" if your message has been sent. And if they reply, it will go directly to your own email.
