Was up visiting my parents in W. Mass this past weekend and we drove to the top of Greylock. From the top I spotted some REALLY nice looking blocks and maybe a cliff. Turns out it looks (from bing) to be legit. I was wondering if anyone here has been there or might have some photos and beta. |

From the Mass GIS website it looks like that the big block you linked to is on private land but that streak of power lines is on state forest land once it splits a little further east, and there's a trail leading through it (Blackburnian loop/Old Florida Rd.) as well. From google earth, it looks like there's a little talus slope between the two power lines along the trail and a decent sized boulder/overhang nearby along the south line. |
