I am looking for a sport climbing spot that has camping within walking distance. I was looking at Shelf Road but haven't had much luck finding anything else near-by. It would be ideal if a spot is located within a two hour drive of Denver. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Shelf Road is pretty much the definition of a crag with camping within walking distance. Not sure if you have the book but there are two major camps sites, Sand Gulch and the Bank, that are easy walking to crags.

Realistically, Denver/Boulder do not have a particular abundance of camping/climbing areas available, which is somewhat surprising to folks.

The Monastery and Rifle both have camping on site. I've seen people camp at Upper Dream, but it isn't really legal.

South Platte. 'Valley of the Chickens' you can camp right next to the walls, and they are south facing so they stay warm.
'Sheep Rock' has multi pitch sport, but its a north face and the approach is long.
All in all South Platte has a little of everything with close camping.

Not in the top places, but very true. It's actually kinda a huff out there with lots ups and down. The area is kinda blah to camp, but the view are nice and there is an abundance of routes.

Oh but I "might" be a little concerned about leaving my car out there overnight. I've seen some interesting folks camping up in dem der hills.

It might be too late in the season (looks like rain/snow in the next few days and I'm not sure how long the campground stays open) but you could check out Dude's Throne in Golden Gate Canyon SP. It's not a huge crag but there are some fun sport and trad lines. There is a campground right there with the hike to the crag about 5-10 minutes & it's mostly south-facing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
