Bailed on a draw at Little Eiger
|
Need more people like this ! |

I dont think it's wrong to ask for your draw back, I have been asked several times after retrieving gear, but know if you bail off a single piece that piece becomes public property in most conditions so no one is required to comply with your request. |

Usually if I try and give a route a go and can't finish it and have to bail I try and think of any way I can get my stuff back. Walk around to the top and rapell down to retrieve it or set up a tr and get I back that way might be embarrassed about I but who cares I got my #3 cam back lol I def get sometimes that option isn't there and yeah if you leave it consider it gone but ya never know there's nice people out there. While setting up a tr anchor I dropped my atc and thought it was gone forever but someone climbed the route later and found it in a crack I gave them the option to keep I as I gave up looking I just wanted to climb more lol but they insisted I take it back I was one happy dude :) |

climberish wrote:Just going to leave this here... mountainproject.com/v/if-an…lol you must not be aware how MP works. One person makes a post about XXXX, and then a couple days later someone else makes a satirical parody of the first post to either prove a point or make note of how insanely clever they are. You can almost set your watch to it. |

You guys do know that the idea of a cosmic point system (karma) is ridiculous right? |
|
I thought it was "what happens on MP stays on MP" |

I also believe a second misquoted expression from the famous theoretical psychic Dickie Feynman applies here, "If you think you understand the Mountain Project forum, you don't understand the Mountain Project Forum." Claiming knowledge of the underlying thinkings of the Mountain Project thread is utter arrogance, and I beg you to recant your heretics."Theoretical Psychic..." I hope you're thoroughly ashamed of your ignorance and disgrace. Either that or it was a typo. (PHYSICIST IS BASICALLY THE ANTITHESIS OF 'PSYCHIC'") Now you understand. |
