I was wondering if anyone has been out to Horsetooth recently to boulder and if you know if there has been many rattlesnake sightings. I have to bring my dog if I go and just had heard a rumor it can be quite the rattlesnake place but was wondering about this time of year, thanks!

I was there Friday. Saw a small rattler right above the Cat's Eye wall. I often see them on the trail. Leave your dog at home, or leash it near you.

"this time of year" they are out during the day since the nights are normally too cold for them.

I suggest you vaccinate your dog with the rattlesnake antitoxin...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
