Hi
I will be in Camp4 during October.
I'm traveling alone and open to any project to climb in the Valley. I don't know how will I climb there but I think that my level can be around 5 10 or 5 11. Anyway I will be happy to climbing any classic beautiful route in the valley no matter how long or how difficult. I am bringing nuts & cams.

What I would like first of all is to contact people driving to Yosemite from Las Vegas or around last days of September or first days of October. Can pay for the petrol.

Any of you know if is it easy to find a second-hand cheap tent in Yosemite?

Bye.

Hi!

I will arrive in Yosemite today, staying three weeks, and will be looking for people to climb with. Initially I am hoping to get on long and short free climbs in the 5.7 - 5.10 range. Later on maybe some harder routes or some aid climbing practise.

If you are looking for climbers to partner up with we could meet over a mug of swedish drip brewd coffee in camp4 and compare todo-lists. I will hopefully be able to check my MP account, but I don´t know if there is any access to wifi in the valley. I will also post a note on the noteboard at camp4.

I'll be heading to the valley for some climbing in early October I hope. 5.7-5.9. Plenty of gear, 70m, car etc. if you need a partner to climb with later on let me know. I know the valley pretty well also. Tuolumne would be nice too if 120 is still open.

Hi folks,

I ended up at campsite 16 at camp4, tall dude living in a red tunnel tent (Hilleberg) with a large blue Metolius bag standing next to it. We are currently three lonely travelers that has teamed up. But we are not only an odd number, some are also staying longer than others. If any of you, or all, are still looking for climbers to partner up with, why not come by and say hi, or leave a note on the tent with your campsite number. As they say, the more the merrier.

Ps, Sorry natxo if I am sort of hijacking your thread a little bit. Ds

Im planning on heading up on friday or saturday and hanging out for a few days to do some bouldering. is it super crowded in camp 4 right now? should i try to show up super early in the morning to get a spot? or is it a little less crowded? thanks a lot!!

Hi will, camp 4 was full last weekend. It will likely be full again. Try going on recreation.gov or call them daily to secure cancellations in the pines camp grounds. Good luck.

It looks like I'll be back in the valley early next week. I wanted to get up to tuolumne for a day before the close 120. Anyone game for some moderates let me know. Thanks.

Also planning to head to Yosemite, probably on Monday or Tuesday next week, ideally for long, easy climbs. Plan to stay in Yosemite until the weather gets bad.

Will have full rack and ropes and am a safe climber, but no experience with Yosemite or Tuolumne yet.

If people are still looking for partners, please let me know.

I'm rolling into the valley tonight (10/9). And staying through the weekend. Have a 60m and double rack. I lead 5.8 and follow 5.10. Have climbed in the valley a decent amount.
