Looking for partners in the Sedona area!

Hi there! My mother needs help at her house in Sedona for a few weeks so I am heading down to AZ with my 70m rope, 15 draws, and fingers crossed that I can find a safe and amicable climbing partner(s)!

I am a very safe/experienced belay, lead 5.10 sport (I've sent two 5.11a's outside but just breaking into the grade), just started leading trad for the first time this summer (so can lead 5.7/5.8 MAYBE follow harder stuff? my crack technique is kind of laughable but what I lack in technique I make up for in enthusiasm! absolutely fell in love with granite cracks in squamish this july) although I do not have trad gear yet.

Anyway if you need a safe catch and wanna get outside please hit me back!

ps. are there any climbing gyms in the sedona/flagstaff area?

Samina, or anyone else for that matter, I have a commitment from Oct 16-18. I can climb in Sedona prior or after to extend the trip. That equates to Wed-Thur, 14-15 or the other end, Mon-Tues 19-20 or both for that matter.

I don't mind doing any and/or all leading. I have climbed approximately 30 tower routes in Sedona and want to continue to hit up any new established routes or ones I have overlooked to date, but don't mind a good repeat or two as well. Looking for safe and competent belayer, the enthusiasm you mention helps when climbing some Sedona choss.

This is my beta on Sedona climbing....

I'll be in Sedona 17-20 October. You guys still around? I'd be able to do maybe a little climbing. I'm going with my GF so it would be a day I set aside for some outdoor fun.

Hey all! I finally made it down to Sedona. Sounds like you're unavailable this weekend (Dow) but just thought I'd post a response to see as I'm here this weekend and would love to climb! 503-467-9740

Hey Dow, I can climb next Monday-Wednesday after 2 pm or Thursday through the weekend I am available all day. Shoot me a text if that works for you and perhaps we can make a plan :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
