Does anyone know where I can get the trigger wire on an alien replaced? Fixe does not return my emails.

I've got a friend who fixes them if you run into a dead end, Tim Sr.

I looked on the Fixe site, and at the video. Their kits don't seem like they would repair a CCH unit. Mine is a green and the cables are thin wire swedged to thin cable. I need someone who can do tiny swedges or has a source for them. This is almost fishing size stuff.

Hey Tim!

You can just do it yourself too: mountainproject.com/v/alien…

I fixed five or six of my old aliens with this method. Easy and quick and pretty much free.

Cool, I will try it! I have used paper clips for wires in old Camalots but swedges were always hard to find. Thanks!

I found a small swage from early cam repairs, and a small long shank fishhook worked as replacement. It is back in action, but obviously repaired.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
