Hi Guys,

I am an Industrial designer, studying climbing and related problems.
I would love to know what problems do you face, in terms of gear, or physical limitations you face while climbing.
It would also help to know what you think is missing, something you feel the need of but isn't available or manufactured yet!

Thank you so much ! Looking forward to your replies.

Cheers,
Bhoom

This kind of question comes of one or two times a year, a little searching should bring you some good results.

This has been mentioned many times before, but mountaineering boots compatible with tech bindings would be glorious. That'd be my top problem I'd want to solve!

Eric's spot on. That would be magical.

Bdel peckers with a swaged loop that actually will hold a fall so I can stop cutting and red waging mine. (Fully aware that tomahawks have this, but they're too heavy in the large size imo)

I would like those anti-gravity boots that Spock used to catch Captain Kirk when he free soloed El Cap.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
