Camp 4

How early do I have to show up at camp 4 to get a site this time of year? I've been there in the peak summer season and done the 4am line thing but I was wondering if there's a lower demand this time of year. Getting there either friday or saturday.

For what it's worth, Housekeeping (which I know is more expensive but which I am sat in now) is showing vacancy on the sign. Camp 4 was completely full when I walked through earlier today.

Check on recreation.gov for campsites. Check multiple times a day, as some open up at the last minute.

+1 for FrankPS. I scored a North Pines campsite last weekend that way. (Hoping for he same outcome this weekend, too!)

I called recreation.gov a few days ago and got a site at lower pines for this weekend. If you have no luck send me a message maybe we can share the site.
