Training and Weekend Climbing Partner in Ogden/SLC

I'm looking for a mid-week training partner in Ogden (mostly at The Front climbing gym) who's interested in climbing outside on Saturdays. I usually train Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays after work (4:00/4:30PM).

Right now I'm a confident 5.10 trad leader and can redpoint 5.11s. Can follow 12s. I really like to climb in LCC, but the direct sunlight makes that a bit difficult for a few more weeks. Also enjoy the Schoolroom area up in Ogden.

Prefer people who are calm and whose vocabulary during times of distress consists of longer-than-4-letter words.

My goals/objectives/attempts for this fall are:
Tick Fever (5.11a, LCc)
Gordon's Direct (5.11b, LCC)
All Chalk and No Action (5.12a, LCC)
Terror of Tiny Town (5.11a, City of Rocks)
Crack of Doom (5.11c, City of Rocks)

Although I prefer trad, I've realized I'm going to need to climb (and fall) on some hard sport to gain technique and improve the head game.

Consistent goals? PM me.

Hey, i'm more of a trad climber. Would you be willing to do that on Saturdays?

Hi Alex,

We could. I'm usually ok in finding outdoor partners for Saturday (although I don't mind expanding that group). I'd really like to find someone to train with in Ogden mid-week and then crank hard on the weekends.

Bump for training and hard trad partners. Starting up the next training cycle end of October with the performance phase in January.

Trinity Right remains a goal, along with some longer-term goals:
Skinners Roof (City of Rocks)
Electric Avenue (City of Rocks)
Trinity Left (LCC)
Center Trinity (LCC)
Fallen Arches (LCC)
Orange Crush (LCC)
Sig Sauer (Indian Creek)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
