I recall reading a few years back that among regular coffee drinkers, there is no diuretic effect until you hit 1500 mg or so of caffeine. But IME some cheap coffee can irritate the bladder and produce a profound need to pee. |

The key is being a good liar or getting lied to well. "That's a good route, 11c, lots of fun, not too bad for the grade" is a great intro line to onsighting your first 12. Of course with MP and guidebooks it's harder to pull off. With experience and crankiness, this effect fades. |

When you think about it, "proximal tubular adenosine receptor blockade" does occur in the kidneys after all. |
