Devil's tower this weekend (begining of October)

We're on our way to climb the tower this coming Sunday-Monday. The forecast says rain.
Any experienced climbers have thoughts on this? How is it looking? How is the rock after rain?

Tower is a very dry place, you have as good a chance there to avoid the rain as anywhere in the area.
