I'm thinking of heading to Utah at the beginning of next month. If I'm going without a partner where is the best place to go? I've been a little lazy the last month, but should be able to lead trad into the easy 10s. Is the weather normally pretty good for climbing then? On a budget, so cheap camping is also a factor. Thanks for your input and feedback.

Hey if you're looking for a partner in Zion, I'll be here! I just moved to Springdale and I'm looking to find a partner for my days off. I'm following 10s and leading 9..I think.
I haven't climbed on this rock before so it'll be all new for me ! Hope to hear from you.

I'm likely headed to Zion soon. Could make that definite if I can nail down some partners.

Last time there I did NW Buttress of angel's landing (11a var). Could be up to so some shorter stuff first to see where my shoulder is at. Lead 10s off the couch.

My wife and I are planning on being in Indian Creek next weekend (around Oct. 10 or 11). My wife is pregnant and we don't really have a good rack for the routes we (I) would like to do (just doubles). Would be happy to team up for a combined rack / less pregnant belay.

I'm out in Indian Creek, atthe campground after Super Bowl (can't remember the name now, Creek something). In a small, blue, early 90s Toyota, with a faded camper shell. New friends and partners are all welcome.

I'll add my name to the list of potential partners as I am planning on being in Moab Oct 12-15, fingers crossed. I'm not looking to push the envolope, but to gradually get back into the game. I'm considering Castle Valley, Indian Creek, San Rafael Swell, etc. Easy going and will climb with anyone.

Wednesday morning the 7th climbing...preferably longs canyon or something a little more north, however Im willing to head to the creek for the day if I can find a partner. I have a good portion of my creek rack so a little supplementing will make it cover well in most hand and fat finger sizes. 5.10 lead, 5.11 hangdog, 5.12 toprope ;) Pm or txt 8O17two647six9

I will be down with a friend this weekend for our first time to the Creek. we will be hanging out in Donnelly Canyon or Power wall until we get a baseline for ourselves on desert sandstone. Right now our rack is woefully small, anyone interested in pooling gear for any projects at those crags?

In Moab from Sat 10th - Mon 12th, but stranded without a car. First time here and would love to climb! Brought my harness and shoes in case any fellow climbers are in town this weekend and willing to show me around. :)
Happy to take you out for food/drinks post-climbing!
