City of Rocks weather

How is the climbing weather at City of Rocks in late October?

How about Elephant's Perch?

It can be absolutely perfect climbing weather or it can be snowing and below freezing. Really just depends. I've had great days in late October at the city, but I've also gotten completely shut down by weather.

As for the Elephants Perch(I assume that's what you're talking about), it can be climbable that time of year given good weather but There's a high probability it'll be too cold by then.

Elephant's perch also has a longish hike in, which can be shortened in the summer by a nice boat ride.

Just for grins, Google the Stanley, Idaho Sawtooth cam. Live cam, so daylight, to state the obvious. : )

Hopefully, really, really getting snowy by then!
