This even is not just about trail work. It is about celebrating how lucky we are to live near a world class climbing destination and bringing people together with food, drink, and storytelling around a campfire like how it used to be.
We are honored to have Dave Baker, historical first ascentionist and Stronghold pioneer, attending the Adopt A Crag to give an intimate presentation/slideshow about "his" time in the Stronghold.
Knead Me The picture of Dave inspired me! Yesterday, I wanted to start my Storghold season on the first route ever done up the Rockfellow Domes too. I went to try Knead Me. And today, I feel l worked over but ready to rise again with a little more admiration and OW skill beat into me. Come on out, it maybe your first time or your thousandth, the place has something for everyone.

To answer a few questions:
1)On Saturday, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided by SACC (see Facebook for menu). 2)Dogs are allowed but they need to be on leash at all time per Forest Service 3)Don't forget your helmet, gloves, lawn chair, coffee mug. 4)climbing knowledge for trivia (no cellphone cheating)
What is a knife blade? Can you answer this question? Hint to win: stack your team with a boulderer, a mountaineer, a sport, a aid, and a trad climber and it is in the bag!
The truck is loaded and headed out! Hope to see you there,
