MN ice climbing partner

I am looking for someone who has some decent ice climbing experience and their own gear. Having your own winter camping gear would be nice too. I would like to do as many day trips to sandstone and the various locations in the cities as I can. I am also hoping to do some weekend trips up to the north shore and nipigon.

I have been ice climbing for a few years now. I have 10 (9?) ice screws and have done a little leading. Climbed most if not all of the locations on the north shore multiple times. I do work M-F so weekend trips or taking a friday off of work will be the majority of my availability. Feel free to PM or respond on this page.

I'm mpls-based and expect to hit Sandstone regularly this season. I'm esp. keen to get up to Casket (Duluth) and Nipigon, as I've been to neither. A goal this winter is to lead more efficiently/confidently so it'd be great to partner w/someone who has similar objectives.

Jake, keep me in mind and give me a shout when you head up to the North Shore and Nipigon. I haven't climbed up there and would love to check it out. I moved back to MN a year ago from Wyoming. I have all the gear and lead comfortably up to WI3 - follow up to WI 5. Ice climbed in Wyoming Southfork Valley near Cody, Ouray, CO, led many multi-pitch and single pitch ice climbs in Alaska (lived there 7 years).

I'd also be interested in doing some ice climbing - I have a bit of experience - mostly with top-roping and could provide my own gear. Would definitely be up for multiple trips this winter. Feel free to keep me in mind.
