The real cost of climbing is the opportunity cost due to time gone. You're a worse employee, but probably a happier one, so maybe it's all moot anyways.

It's a Winston Churchill quote. I think it's not exactly worded correct though. I think below is right..

The proper quote is: "If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain"

It was falsely attributed to Churchill. It was some french dude in the 1800's who came up with the earliest derivation.
