Anyone know of a good screw sharpener?
|
Hi, we're looking for a good professional screw sharpener for our outfitting business. Looking for 40-60 screws per year to be done throughout the year, and we wouldn't be looking for a quick turnaround. |

Try Bill Leo at Ouray Mountain Sports, Ouray, CO. The last time we were there Bill had a machine that sharpened ice screws. |

Something to consider - Grivel and BD (and presumably Petzl) put different angles on their teeth, not sure what effect sharpening a BD screw to a Grivel angle would be. |

I sharpen ice screws using a CNC controlled 4-axis milling machine. The great part is I can put an aggressive tooth profile on any generation or brand of steel ice screw. |

Send me an email to: icescrewsharpening@gmail.com We can discuss quantity, delivery and price. icescrewsharpening.comI'll vouch for Charles - when he finishes your screws will start better than when they were new! |
