Peterskill Crowds

Anyone know what the crowds are like at Peterskill late September? Planning on going up from LI in two or three weeks on a Saturday. Wondering what time I should leave to make sure I get in.

If you want to be sure to get in, be there when they open.

During peak season, I would be there when they open (I'm in Brooklyn so it takes me just under 2 hours) You will be able to get in if you get there early. I have never been turned away from peterskill due to crowds as far as parking.

More of a problem is getting on the routes you wish to climb. Be prepared to climb on what you can get on and climbing on NON established rock/routes during weekend PEAK season. If Top Roping, make sure your anchor building skills are strong as you will be finding your own routes (unless you are one of the first people in line for the parking lot)
