Approach time estimates

I've scoured the MP descriptions and comments... but a CO vet could probably quickly throw out some numbers. Could someone help me with approximate approach times? 5, 10, 30, 60, 60+? I've filled in what I guessed at...

Heading there in the fall, this would help plan out our days!

  • First Flatiron - 30 mins?
  • Second Flatiron - ?
  • Third Flatiron - ?
  • Hammerhead - ?
  • Royal Arch - ?
  • Seal Rock - ?
  • Fatiron/The Maiden - 1-2 hours?
  • The Matron - ?
  • Eldo, Wind Tower - 5 mins
  • Eldo, Redgarden Wall - 10 minutes??
  • Lumpy Ridge, Left Book - ?
  • Lumpy Ridge, Batman and Robin - 45-60 minutes?
  • Lumpy Ridge, Sundance Buttress - 90 minutes?

The times you have listed are pretty close. Obviously depends on what shape you're in and what gear you're bringing.

2nd and 3rd Flatiron aren't too much farther than the first. Maybe add 10-15min for the 2nd and 20 or so to get to the 3rd. Seal Rock is about 30-40min if you're hiking quickly and know where you're going (make sure to start from NCAR TH) because there is a climber's trail cutoff before Fern that you need to hit.

Eldo: Wind Tower is right off the bridge, so yeah pretty much zero approach. Redgarden is a little different and depends what route you're doing. Getting up to Rewritten would be more like 20min, but not too bad.

Lumpy times look about right to me.

First and third flatiron about 20.
15 for 2nd

Royal arch will take you 45-60min.

Seal is about 30 from NCAR not chataqua

You can get to the maiden from Eldo quicker in about 45-60 min the matron in less
