If you tell them you're a climber, they'll give you a special rate of $10 per night per person (regularly $15). Not exactly an amazing deal, but okay.

My experience was that this was quieter and nicer than Baker River. There are spots on the river, and spots away from the river which offer more privacy. Part of why it was quieter, however, may be just because it was less congested. At Baker River we had some kids next to us playing their car stereo all night long, a guy screaming at his wife and kids, etc.

DO NOT BUY THEIR WOOD. They sold us a wheelbarrow full of wood for $10, which seemed like a good deal until we found out it was green and would just hiss and ooze sap. If you want to build a fire with their wood, you'll need some gasoline.

30 for group of 2.

They are definitely nice there. Early in the spring season they have pre-season rates too.

For firewood there are some good places down a bit further on 25 that sell bundles for cheap.

Yeah, $30 is the regular rate. Tell them you're a climber and they'll do it for $20 (two adults).

On the subject of Rumney-area services: I stopped at the Chill Post last saturday for a smoothie. It was EPIC. Way rad. Insta-classic.

Seriously, though, this place has good food, good prices, it's like 200 yards from the rumney parking lot, and the people are nice. You should stop by.

Thanks for the information on this campground. A group of us climbers stayed there this past weekend and it was great! Quiet and clean with grassy sites. For $10.00 a night you can't beat that price with free hot showers. The bath house is amazing. We'll be staying at this campground again. The owner's were very thankful for the business after the big storm in the area.
