Anyone have any beta on the deep water soloing near Potash Rd? I've seen a few photos, but can't find any area or route information anywhere. I haven't been to Moab yet, but planning a trip for Labor Day so any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is no deep water soloing near Potash. There may be some shallow water bouldering above the river in places, but that is a very silty river with a constantly changing bed that is running pretty low right now, and that also tends to collect wood from upstream. Any fall into the water that you don't extensively probe should be considered a spinal cord injury waiting to happen.

Lake Powell has some, but again probe because conditions constantly change based on lake levels.

Gold bar is the only spot I have ever heard of and its maybe 7-8 feet of mediocre bouldering. The channel is usually deep enough (3-4 feet) and the bottom is sand so pretty friendly for falling or jumping into. Perhaps worth stopping by after climbing in Long or Day Canyon or hiking Corona arch but certainly not a destination by itself.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
