Perhaps we can all just pitch in and build a monument to Matt's ego.

The taginator and an old toothbrush will kill sharpie in a matter of minutes.

Well, If someone does catch you, don't get your panties in a bunch when they write all over you with said sharpie and...

This guy you quote is brave while typing away on this inter web thingy. In person, if he spoke to you in such a way I believe he would be cleaning that off with his tongue around here.

Good catch, Brian C. Anyone know this person? Could someone talk to him in person?

MSL is going down. I'm going to scrub it off tonight. This is completely unacceptable on every level.

What if every "climber" possessed with an adolescent ego logged their ascents on the first with a sharpie.. It would be a heinous black blob of graffiti.

Pitiful.

If you look closer you will notice that Brian was quoting Mike L, those were not his own words. You're slandering the wrong person.

About Me Hello! My name is Brian, and I am happy to be a resident and native of Colorado. I was born and raised in Grand Junction, graduated from Grand Junction High School, and moved to Greeley for university. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's degree in bassoon performance. I then moved to Eugene, Oregon to begin working toward a graduate degree, but soon transferred back to UNC where I graduated with a Master's in Music Education in 2010. Although I spent a fair amount of time outdoors, I was not truly bitten by the mountain bug until I summited Grays Peak on a whim on June 11, 2006. Cresting out on the continental divide turned out to be the start of it all. I quickly began hiking mountains often and soon found myself scrambling up more sporting routes. Scrambling led slowly into technical climbing, and I sorted out "the ropes" mostly in the Flatirons. Today, I live with my beautiful wife in Longmont where we are both music educators. I continue to pursue classic mountains and routes while trying to stay safe. Or maybe his wife came out and he just speaks a mean homophobics language now. But how could that be with such a sexy beast

This shit is getting classic. Jesus Brian when you drop a bomb like that you gotta be clear about it. :) I will delete that post, but I gotta say that I really want to keep the bottom picture.

Would be sweet to have a minimum-IQ feature to post here, but then 80%+ of the forum would disappear.

Keep up the great work, men!

If you clicked on the link I posted you would see that response is the copied text from mister graffiti artist and not from me.

I do appreciate the implications of my wife being gay though and uploading my photos and calling me a douche...

Back to the topic. NWNINJA, let me know how cleanup goes. If you don't get around to it I was planning on heading up there tomorrow to clean it up as well.

I'm bummed that Mike backed down.

In the good ole days, he would have doubled down and made a ton of excuses/proposed conspiracy theories that they were the same guy/etc etc.

No reason? I thought that was the dude. His post wasn't entirely clear, especially pre-coffee on hump day. Head up my ass? Maybe but it was good fun while it lasted.

Oh don't worry, I have my theories and they are not pretty.

What? It was totally clear. You spent about 1/10th of a second reading the post and god knows how long trolling pictures of his wife and insulting her.

Pretty fucked up actually.

i'm injured or I would go up there with rubbing alcohol today and scrub that bullshit off. Very little gets me revved up on Mt. Project, but this one hits home.

Thanks to whomever helps to remove the graffiti, and thanks to anyone else who has the time to wait up there for this dickhead to show up with some well selected words to ensure he does not do this again.

OH man i wish I could see this guy in action to really have a talk with him. Shameful.

agreed. A few beers.

How is it clear? Nothing in his post says that he did not author it's contents.

How did I insult his wife? Unless me calling her gay is an insult. I don't find homosexuality to be offensive or insulting.

I apologized and deleted the post(except for that beautiful pic). I failed to meet Adam's min. IQ requirement and put my foot in mouth because of it.

Hey guys, on that IQ thing. What do you think is a good level to set the barrier?

107? 108 maybe?
