Trapps->Arrow Wall, Approach time?
I've googled my brains out to no avail, and my guidebook currently appears to be delayed in shipping. Does anyone have an approximate approach time for the Arrow Wall, etc? We're flying in this weekend and only have one day to climb, so timing everything out properly is tricky! any tips would help! |

From where? Which parking lot? From the Uberfall? |
It's probably about 20minutes from the West Trapps Parking lot if you know where you're going and walk at a reasonable pace. If it's your first time there, it will probably take you longer since a lot of the approach trails look the same. |
It's not far from the East Trapps Connector Trail (more commonly known as the Stairmaster); perhaps a 10-15 minute walk. If you're concerned with timing, download the Gunks App for the Trapps. It supplies good visual references for each areas' access trail, as well as high-res pictures of the base of each route. |

Brian, I believe from the Uberfall, it's the parking lot listed in MP |

There are two parking areas. One is the East Trapps lot also referred to as the Warwarsing lot. You turn in here at the sign for the Mohonk Visitor Center. There is also the West Trapps lot. The East Trapps lot is closer to Arrow although you have a steep hike up a bunch of stone stairs. The Uberfall is the main hangout area of the Trapps. (A good place to avoid.) If you know where you are going Arrow is no more than 15 minutes from the East Trapps lot. How far away you have to park depends on how early you get there. |

Hi Austin, |
Austin, Be prepared, on weekends, to find the climb you want to be occupied.... So - if you are trying to plan routes, in an order, that will get monkey-wrenched pretty quickly. Better to have an idea of a few routes in a few areas that you would like to get on, and not be totally set on specific lines. |
