I'm 6'3" 200lbs with severe claustrophobia and am worried about getting stuck in the narrows. Anyone want to venture a guess if I'll fit and if not, how long it will take YOSAR to get up there with the hog grease and get me out? Trying to figure out if I should chicken out and just bring aiders. Thanks.

It's not as nearly as tight as the Harding Slot on Astroman, and you can generally find wider sections to snake your way up.

I'm about the same size and I fit through. 46" chest just for comparison.

I think you will fit through, and size might actually be a virtue for the start, but your mention of "severe claustrophobia" does give me pause; it is pretty claustrophobic for a decent stretch.

Have fun!

Dean Potter fit, and he was big. I am 5.2 and 114 and thought I was going to get stuck. Don't wear a helmet it rack.

You won't get stuck in the narrows, but there's no way you'll fit through the "5.9" squeeze on P4 or P5 --- be sure to do the 5.8 flake variation out right.

The Narrows are pretty roomy, and really cool. Have a blast!

Chest size is what matters. I remember I could hold myself in the narrows just by inhaling. Not a good sensation for the claustrophobic, I would think (I am not claustrophobic).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
