Hello!
I would like to get outside and climb while I am in South Lake Tahoe October 1-4th. I am racing the Spartan Elite World Championships on the 3rd and would like to climb on the 1st or 2nd. I am coming alone, I have belayed and climbed indoors and spend most of my time bouldering but am dying to get outside! I would be ok joining another group or going out alone with someone else looking for a partner. I can bring my own shoes and possibly harness. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Contact Petch. Personable, knows the area, reasonably priced and competent:

If Petch doesn't work out, you could try Brian Biega. You should have no trouble getting in touch with him because he is registered on Mountain Project and he also has a website that you can find by Googling his name (if you none of that works, just PM me and I can put you in touch). Brian is AMGA certified and lives in Truckee. Nice guy and he has been living, guiding, and climbing in the Tahoe region for decades.

Good luck.

+1 on Petch. Great guide.
