Blitzo! :-( |
Rest in peace Bill. I always loved your images and spirit. We'll see you on the other side of the mountain.... |
I was supposed to meet the man this summer, on his annual trip to climb with his good friend Locker. |
RIP |
RIP fellow climbing friend. |
Never met the man, but his pictures have been an inspiration (and will continue to be). RIP |
How very sad ... I knew Bill only through his amazing pictures. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. |
RIP Blitzo. |
RIP. Will miss seeing the world through your lens. |
Rest in peace sir, thank you for sharing your outstanding art. |
His photography is a standard that I strive to match (and probably never will). His passing is a great loss to the climbing community. |
RIP Blitzo....... |
We are really lucky to have his work on this site, one of the things that makes this site worth visiting. |

RIP Blitzo. I was honored once upon a time to be graced by your humor and kindness and I'll never forget it, just like your photos. |
Dude is still the Mack! |
RIP Blitzo! I never had the pleasure of meeting you but always enjoyed your photos and comments. You're character came through even to us so far away. |
Two years...... |
Rest in peace Blitzo. Your photos will live on, and will continue to impress and encourage for years to come |
Sadly, I never saw this thread, probably because I come here so rarely. It was great reading through it and seeing how much everyone loved Blitzo, his photos, his antics, his epic stories (and there were many), his love of fine beer, just the truly original Blitzo. |
