Green alien trigger broken without taking a fall
|
Yesterday when I was climbing at Peter's Kill, just about to place one of my green aliens as the first piece on a route, I noticed one trigger was broken...ended up using a 0.3 C4 instead. |

Yes. Trigger wires break. Happens all the time. |

It happens to all cams, sometimes just from how you throw them in your pack all squished together all of the damned time. |

when i read cable broke... i was expecting something more dramatic. fix it with a paper clip or some thicker gauge wire. no big... the fixe aliens pins break. |

Aliens are pretty fragile compared to TCUs...as others have mentioned, just a hang in the backpack can "modify" them and they often have sharp small wires poking out... |
