Lander Partners and Dirtbag Beta

Hello all!

I'll be rolling into the Lander area in late August and would love to find some partners! I'm a little out of shape after being at sea but I lead up to high 11 sport. I only have a little trad experience but would love to learn/belay/follow.

On top of that. I've been researching the area and it looks to be pretty dirtbag friendly. However, where do most of the climbers camp? Is there a campground where most of them congregate? Any tips for dirtbagging in the area as well?

Not a local, so I don't know how much help I can be, but you can camp for free for up to three days in the Lander City Park. There is also great free camping up at Wild Iris so that you could jump between the two locations depending on when you need to pick up supplies in lander. Good luck and have fun.

Camp in City Park for free, move up to sinks if needed, or spend a night or two at iris. Hit up the Lander Bar, or troll around sinks main wall in the afternoon if needed, you will find lots of friendly people and beta.
