New to the aid world. Just picked up a couple cliff hangers as they were super cheap and im trying to build up my aid rack (also, they are recommended on one of the routes i plan to climb).
My questions are, how often do you guys use them. do you like them vs other hooks, any advice based on your experience with them?
Hey Jake. Welcome to fun with fear. You'll find all hooks have there need and there place. Cliffhangers are Great for hooking over the top of thinner flakes and etc. Though a vertical cut hook is stronger for same type of placement. But not allways better. As far as how often,(usually) comes with more difficult routes or pitches. Climb on!
