Trying to head to Devil's Head this weekend, leaving Friday afternoon and looking for 1 more to compliment a group of 3.

I believe Devil's Head is still closed, although nearby crags (like Radio Head) are open. The branch of the road for Devil's Head is closed at the last intersection, although you can probably still walk in.

I heard a tornado went through the campground but what is actually closed? Just the campground or the road to the main trailhead or some other roads?

Rampart Range Road is open, the road to Devil's Head from Rampart Range is gated and locked.

^^ with a sign threatening a $5000 fine if caught ignoring the closure.

Talked to the SPlatte Ranger District yesterday and they didn't have an estimated date of reopening.

Is the approach from Rampart by Wipeyur Buttress still open? You can still make it to other walls, it's just a bit longer.

Just talked to the USFS and the main lot will likely be closed for another couple of weeks as they have tangled trees and a difficult job to clear the mess. I guess the Devil's own tornado had an impact. The other access points from MM10 and Jackson Creek should work fine. The only areas that would be hard to reach are on the far northeast side of the mountain, Technicoulior, Morning Glory, etc.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
