Routes/Areas near Austin to set up Top rope solo

I'm looking for routes at the green belt that has some walk around options to set up a top rope solo. I'm only aware of the 5.8/5.9 route at the far edge of Gus Fruh. Are there any other routes at Seismic, Gus Fruh, etc. that I can walk around and safely/easily set up a top rope when climbing by myself? Anything in the 5.8-5.11- range would work well for me for these purposes. If there's an area where there are more options in close proximity, even better. Thanks!

The area at the far right of Gus Fruh (Guides Wall), is the only place on the greenbelt to set up TR. The other places are far too sketchy up top (steep/loose/etc.)

However, Seismic Wall is always a show, especially on Tues and Thur. Ropes hung on nearly every route. If you just aren't into leading, I'm sure you could catch a ride there.

Edit* Just realized you wanted to set up rope for soloing. Still same problem exists. Probably easier to hook up with someone and get on whatever you like. Lots of Austin climbers.

Yeah, I'd prefer to lead but basically looking for a backup for the times that a partner isn't available. I also like the option of just getting a catch from someone on lead and then setting up a TR to solo.

My dog found some walkarounds at Seismic last week so I'll have to put the GoPro on her next time she goes exploring!

Yes, it is pretty easy to get up top above Seismic, but it is pretty sketchy up there. The top is very loose and slanted toward the cliff edge. Best case scenario you knock some debris down on top of someone, worst case you end up slipping off.

Plus most of the chains are several feet lower than the cliff edge, so you would have to pull some circus tricks or rap off a tree way back from the edge to get to the chains. This would certainly knock all sorts of loose stuff down.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to be a jerk and tell you what you can and can't do. I'm just trying to save you a lot of trouble. You would come to the same conclusion if you saw what it's like up there.

Top out on Lonesome Dove or Cutting Cards and take a look. It's nasty up there.

A bit more of a drive, but hit up Enchanted Rock. You can find all kinds of top rope solo climbs to do there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
