I don't know about that, I'm pretty sure women only go to climbing gyms to find boyfriends, it has nothing to do with their own climbing. It's like the modern-day equivalent of getting your MRS degree. As I understand it, everything women do, say, and wear is all about the men that are nearby.

I've taken quite a few first (or second or third) dates rock climbing, and I must say that it makes a great first impression. It helps if you're a good climber and look nice with your shirt off, but even without that, the slight fear and excitement generated by climbing create an emotional high that most girls seem to enjoy, and then they project that onto you.
