I'll be in the Dolomites and looking for a climbing partner from August 9-14 and would like to do some of the classic alpine rock routes in Dolomites.

My alpine rock experience is mostly in Canada, including the Bugaboos, North Cascades and Coast Mountains in SW British Columbia. I can lead up to 11+/12- trad (at sea level anyways) and a little harder on sport. I'm happy to do routes of any grade!

I'll have a light rock climbing rack, rope, snow crampons and mountaineering axe with me. Send me a message if you think you'll be in the area at that time.

I am heading to Italy August 6, and could be persuaded to go to the Dolomites, I am from Utah, and will be bringing both climbing and mountaineering gear.

I'm in Cortina now. Depending on partner availability, I may be able to stay through the 10th, so could potentially climb for a couple of days.

my original plan was to climb in Chamonix, but weather conditions are making mountaineering conditions unstable, so Dolomites seem like a good alternative, i fly into Malpensa on Thursday morning.

Cool. I just came from Chamonix and left because it was raining a lot, plus I was ready to see the Dolomites; they're amazing! I'm camping in Cortina and have a partner for at least Thursday, maybe Friday. Let me know when you arrive. I don't have a phone, so I'll just be checking emails. PS, if you have no one to climb with when you first arrive, the via ferratas are pretty fun!

I will head to Sella Pass tomorrow near Canazei and will be able to climb from Sunday, August 9th, onward. I hope to meet one of you there!
